Workplace Assessments

Workplace Assessments are designed to assess the current required workplace demands of the role the employee is completing.

These assessments allow for a list of duties to be developed and the aspects and duties to be assessed for their physical demands.

These duties can the be arranged to identify the physical requirements to complete the current role, and can then inform a graduated return to work plan, or form a component of a pre-employment screening if required.

The assessments are completed in consultation with both Supervisors/Managers/Team Leaders and Employees to ensure all attributes are appropriately assessed.

The assessment is finalised with a report and recommendations to ensure appropriate documentation and feedback can be provided.

Why are these assessments important?

These assessments can also provide education and insight into some alternate options or equipment which could be used to reduce the amount of physical strain required to complete these activities.

This could then in turn reduce the risk of injury, symptom exacerbation and lost time away from the workplace.

Additional updates can be made to the assessments with additions of new or alternate duties are added to the role or the business.

The consultant can also provide additional education or assessments for specific duties or workstations, if it is identified this is a high risk activity, or employee/s have had injuries or pain in relation to these duties.

·  Assist in developing Gradated Return to Work Plans (GRTWPs).

·  Formalise Job Tasks Analyses.

·  Form a component of a Pre-Employment Screen.
